The Gettysburg Area Recreation Authority (GARA), an independent government organization that operates recreation programs and maintains services in the Gettysburg rec park, seeks a new Executive Director to guide its operations into a new era of growth and sustainability.
GARA has long provided residents and visitors with expansive recreational opportunities and a serene natural escape in the heart of Adams County. As the park continues to expand its offerings and improve facilities, the need for a dynamic and visionary leader has become ever more critical.

We’re looking for someone who can not only manage the park’s operational needs but also enhance its role as a vital part of our local heritage.”
The position promises a competitive salary and benefits package, tailored to attract an individual who is eager to make a lasting impact on the park and its surrounding community.
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their resume and a cover letter directly to Niebler at sniebler44@icloud.com, as GARA aims to fill this pivotal position swiftly and smoothly.
