Gettysburg College Center for Public Service Focuses on Immigration and Food Policies [Episode 16]

In this episode of the Gettysburg Connection podcast I talk with Gretchen Natter, head of the Center for Public Service at Gettysburg College.

The center, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, gives students an opportunity to learn from, interact with, and perform service for people around the world. Every year, hundreds of students engage in community outreach, helping people on issues relating to immigration rights, food justice, poverty eradication, and education equity and access.

Here in Adams County, the center connects students, community members, faculty and staff in partnerships that facilitate learning, critical thinking and informed action.
