Gettysburg Community Theatre (GCT), the non-profit 501c3 organization located at 49 York Street within the first block of Lincoln Square in Gettysburg, PA, will kick off its 17th Season with 8 Track: The Sounds Of The 70’s with a live band and singers on stage 7pm Fridays and Saturdays and 2pm Sundays January 24-February 2, 2025. The theatre bar with beer, wine, seltzers, and cocktails is open one hour before the show, during the show, and for a bit after the show as well. Full of leisure suits, halter tops, colorful gogo dresses, and platform shoes, GCT is ready to boogie down through ten years of groundbreaking music in this concert! With its propulsive rhythms and dazzling harmonies, 8-Track is a fast-paced musical romp through one of the most impassioned decades of the 20th century. This Baby Boomers’ dream come true features the music of The Emotions, The Carpenters, Labelle, Barry Manilow, Marvin Gaye, The Doobie Brothers, The Bee Gees, Helen Reddy, KC and the Sunshine Band, and more starring a LIVE BAND on stage!
Directed by Carrie Conklin and Dave Conklin, the 8 Track cast and band includes: Ella Scott, Chris Watson, and Leah Watson from Littlestown, Randi Walker, Lori Francesconi, Sharon Kaya, Pat Conklin, Dave Conklin, Ernie Kranias, Scott Hartwig, Chris Barnabei, Bill Serfass, Chris Chapman from Gettysburg, Cole Boudreau from Orrtanna, Allisa Baker and Babara Semiatin from Fairfield, Drew Derreth, Kayden Riggin from Hanover, and Abbie Mazur-Mummert from Chambersburg.
