Fall Brush Pickup

🚛 The Borough Public Works Department will collect brush placed along the curb (not in the street) or alley twice during the week.
🌿 Brush only — no leaves or grass clippings. Grass and leaves can instead be dropped off at the Public Works building at 457 East Middle Street.

🍂 Leaves should be placed along the curb (not in the street) or along alleys.
❌ Do not mix brush with leaf piles.
Winter Snow & Ice Reminder
❄️ Snow / Ice Clearing Tips:
Apply sand or anti-skid if ice cannot be cleared.34-4666.
Keep sidewalks cleared at least 30 inches wide.
Do not throw or push snow into the street.
Avoid piling snow near hydrants or storm drains (within 5 feet).
Pile snow within parking lots, not onto the street.
