Gettysburg secured fifth place in Wednesday’s 2nd Colonial Division Mid-Penn Golf tournament with a team score of 361.
The team’s top performer, Zachary Sentz, led the team with an 86, placing himself amongst the top finishers for the day. Close behind were Zachary Slaybaugh and Landon Blocher, both finishing with scores of 91.
Other scores from Gettysburg included Austin Keller with 93, Brody Granger with 96, and Andrew Reisinger with 114.
Waynesboro emerged as the top team of the day with a score of 332. Tyler Fortney from Waynesboro stood out as the top individual performer, carding a 73.
Northern and Shippensburg secured second and third positions, respectively, with scores of 341 and 352. Greencastle, the home team, ended the match in fourth place, recording a total of 359.
On the season Waynesboro and Northern lead the board, both with 11 wins and a single loss. Gettysburg stands at a season record of 5 wins and 7 losses, tied with Greencastle.
The match was played from white tees with a yardage of 6,374 and a par of 72.
