Gettysburg Free Holiday Parking Hours Begin Next Week, But with Some Changes from Last Year

Free holiday parking hours in Gettysburg will begin on Monday, November 30 and extend through New Year’s Day.

Unlike last year in which there was free parking for at least some hours on weekends, the free hours this year are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

There will be no free parking on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays which will have normal posted hours.

The meters that are part of the holiday package are those on Lincoln Square, Steinwehr Ave., and in the first blocks each direction from the Square.

Only meters marked with the holiday parking signs are included; all other meter locations are normal posted hours.

There is no parking from 2:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. and all meters have a three-hour parking limit.
