Gettysburg Mayor, The Honorable Rita C. Frealing, J.D., has humbly announced her bid for reelection.
Her life-long commitment and track record stand ready to continue the prosperity of the community.

“I am honored to announce my candidacy for Mayor of the Borough of Gettysburg once again,” said Frealing. “Serving our community over the past term has been an incredible privilege, and I am excited to continue the progress we’ve made together.
“My decision to run for re-election stems from a deep-rooted belief in civic duty and a passion for Gettysburg since my early childhood, having been born, raised and educated in Adam’s County.
“I have seen firsthand the positive impact of effective leadership and community engagement. Together, we can build upon our successes and navigate future opportunities and obstacles with resilience and foresight,” she said.
Frealing said former Gettysburg Mayor Ted Streeter and former State Representative Ken Cole have endorsed her candidacy.
Frealing’s campaign will focus on ensuring equal access to services available to borough residents.
Mayor Frealing is a board member of the Pennsylvania Municipal League and the PA Workforce Development board.
