Gettysburg National Military Park (GNMP) staff is seeking public assistance regarding artifacts that went missing between December of 2023 and January of 2024 from a historical site near Brooke Avenue.
The artifacts, which were taken from the Timbers farm on the southern end of the battlefield, are of significant historical importance. The law enforcement rangers are actively investigating the incident and are seeking evidence from the public.

Authorities urge people who were in the area between December 2023 and January 2024 to contact them if they have any information or witnessed anything suspicious at the time. The agency values visitors’ inputs and considers them critical in solving such crimes.
