Freshman Monica Solis (Clemmons, N.C./West Forsyth) led the Gettysburg College women’s golf team to a third-place finish at the Dickinson Invitational on a beautiful Saturday in Carlisle.

Match Summary
For the second time this season, Solis finished in the top-10. She carded an 86 for a new career-low among 41 competitors. The Bullets’ second-best finisher was sophomore Mia Wilutis (Water Mill, N.Y. Southampton), who tied for 13th by carding an 89. Junior Caroline Kurtt (Denver, Colo./Clovis [Calif.]) and senior Cam D’Amica (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley) carded a 90 and 92, respectively, to round out the team scoring while freshman Anne Harrower (Glenside, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) also competed and posted a 100.
Stevenson University claimed the tournament win with Amanda Perez capturing the individual crown for the Mustangs.
