On April 27, 2024, at approximately 7:38 PM, Gettysburg Police Officers were dispatched to E. Water Street for a vehicle break‐in in progress. The caller reported that they found a subject going through their car. The suspect fled on foot when discovered.
Upon conducting a check of the area, Gettysburg Officers located a subject who matched the description of the suspect approximately two blocks from where the crime had occurred. The subject was subsequently positively identified by the victim as the subject who broke into their car.
Several credit cards with names, other than the suspect’s, were found in the suspect’s pockets. Upon further investigation, it was determined that credit cards were stolen from at least two other vehicles in town this evening.
Brenden Michael ROMAN, age 23, of Waynesboro, was arrested for numerous theft offenses, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and possession of a controlled substance. ROMAN is currently being held at the Adams County Adult Correctional Complex.
