de>LOUISVILLE, Ky. The Gettysburg College men’s lacrosse team maintained its hold on the No. 7 position in the NCAA Division III Coaches’ Poll released by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).
There was little movement among the top teams in the country with Gettysburg (2-0) tallying a few more points in its second week at the seventh position. Each of the top seven teams remained the same from last week with RIT (6-0) running away with No. 1 on the strength of 18 first-place votes. Salisbury University (9-1) claimed two first-place votes to edge in front of Tufts University (3-0), which tallied one first-place nod, for the No. 2 position. York (Pa.) College (10-0), Lynchburg University (10-2), and Cabrini University (7-1) filled the positions ahead of Gettysburg.
The Centennial Conference features three nationally-ranked teams with Ursinus College (2-1) and Franklin and Marshall College (4-0) sitting 13th and 15th, respectively.
