Gettysburg Rising will host its second candidate forum on Wednesday, April 17, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Gettysburg YMCA. The event is designed to help voters make informed decisions ahead of the May 20 Primary Election.
Both candidates for State Judge of the Court of Common Pleas, Torren Ecker and Paul Royer, will be in attendance. Annie Douds, JD, PhD, will open the forum with a brief explanation of the role of judges in the court system before the candidates introduce themselves and answer questions from the audience.

Two of the three Adams County Sheriff candidates will also participate. Josh Fitting is unable to attend but has been encouraged to send a representative with a written statement. Kevin Miller and John Wega will share their visions for the Sheriff’s role and respond to audience questions.
Gettysburg Rising is a grassroots organization dedicated to encouraging civic engagement, sharing fact-based information, and supporting policies that serve the residents of Adams County.
