Gettysburg Borough will join hundreds of other communities around the county to celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday August 3rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in front of the borough office at 59 E. High St.
Members of local police departments will be in attendance including representatives from the borough’s mounted police force.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
The borough is reserving spots for 5 food vendors and 10 businesses at this year’s event. This is a great opportunity to share your business with the public. A trash receptacle must be provided by each attending food truck and tables and chairs must be provided by businesses.
If interested, please contact Officer Hilliard at email@example.com to reserve a spot.
