Gettysburg, PA – It was an outstanding day for the Gettysburg High School Track and Field teams as they scored resounding victories against Big Spring on Wednesday. The Girls’ team trounced their opponents 111 to 35, while the Boys’ team also emerged victorious with a final score of 112.5 to 35.5.
On the Boys team, Landon Keefer secured first place in the 100-meter race, clocking in at an impressive 11.5 seconds. Gavin Cole outran the competition in the 1600-meter event, securing first place with a time of 4:53. Ja’mere Spencer brought home first place in the triple jump with a distance of 39 feet 10 inches.

On the Girls team, Caroline Bannak stood out in the 300-meter hurdles, taking first place with a time of 48.7 seconds.
The Gettysburg High School Track and Field teams will surely be celebrating these victories, and their coaches and supporters can look forward to a promising season ahead.
