A new treat will join the iconic Girl Scout cookie lineup in 2026. Called Exploremores, the cookie is inspired by rocky road ice cream and will be available nationwide during the next Girl Scout Cookie season, which runs from January through April.
Exploremores is a sandwich cookie that combines chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond–flavored crème, offering a twist on the classic rocky road dessert. It becomes the latest addition to a roster that includes favorites like Thin Mints and Samoas, all of which are sold both online and at local cookie booths.
The launch comes with a partnership between Girl Scouts of the USA and Adobe, which will serve as the national sponsor of the 2026 cookie program. The collaboration is designed to encourage Girl Scouts to embrace creativity and individuality as they participate in the annual fundraiser, which helps them develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
As with every Girl Scout cookie, proceeds from Exploremores will remain with local troops and councils. Those funds support a variety of year-round programs, from outdoor adventures to STEM education and community service projects.
The introduction of new flavors has often generated excitement among cookie enthusiasts. In recent years, additions like Adventurefuls and Raspberry Rally sold quickly, sometimes prompting shortages. With its rocky road inspiration, Exploremores aims to capture attention not only for its flavor but also for the spirit of exploration it represents.
Girl Scout cookies have been a cornerstone of the organization’s fundraising efforts for more than a century. Each season, millions of boxes are sold, making it one of the largest youth-led entrepreneurship programs in the world.
Exploremores will debut alongside the rest of the lineup in January 2026.
