The 2025 Grammy Award nominations spotlight familiar stars and exciting newcomers. Beyoncé makes history as the most-nominated artist ever, leading this year with 11 nods and reaching a career total of 99. Close contenders Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, and Charli XCX each earned seven nominations, with Charli XCX’s album Brat securing her first major Grammy recognition. Taylor Swift has six nominations, sharing this milestone with Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan, who both mark their debut in the Grammy arena.
The coveted Album of the Year category includes The Tortured Poets Department, Cowboy Carter, Hit Me Hard and Soft, Brat, Short n’ Sweet, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, as well as André 3000’s woodwind collection New Blue Sun and Jacob Collier’s Djesse Vol. 4. For Record of the Year, singles from these artists appear alongside the Beatles’ “Now and Then” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” a standout track fueled by his recent feud with Drake.

First-time nominees include Shaboozey, a Beyoncé collaborator with five nods, and Doechii, up for Best New Artist among three nominations. The late jazz legend Chick Corea posthumously received three nominations, tying Kanye West as the fifth-most-nominated artist of all time.
Country star Zach Bryan, however, chose to withhold his work from consideration, citing discomfort with competitive awards, aligning with artists like Drake, the Weeknd, and Frank Ocean.
