HABPI Blue Bicycle Bridge Is Dedicated to Susan Naugle

Retiring Gettysburg Borough Council president Susan Naugle was honored by Healthy Adams Bicycle Pedestrian (HABPI) president Dennis Hickethier and HABPI Gettysburg Inner Loop Trail Coordinator Tom Jolin for her service at Monday’s council meeting.

“Susan has been working tirelessly, improving biking and walking infrastructure with the borough. We couldn’t have made the progress we did without her help,” said Hickethier.

Jolin enumerated the many things Naugle has done for the Borough and the many boards she has been on. “If ever there is such a thing as a kind-hearted workhorse it is Susan Naugle. She does so much. She has accomplished so much,” said Jolin.

Streeter thanked Naugle for helping create a “healthier, cleaner environment and a closer community.”

A ceremony will be held in the spring to dedicate the bridge.
