Families in Littlestown will have a chance to celebrate the Halloween season with a free outdoor movie night at Community Park on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Pavilion 4, located at 151 East Lakeview Drive. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks to enjoy the animated classic The Nightmare Before Christmas. The 1993 film, rated PG, runs 1 hour and 16 minutes and tells the story of Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, whose attempt to take over Christmas leads to chaos and comedy.
Organizers said the evening is designed as a fun, family-friendly community gathering to celebrate the spirit of the season in a relaxed, festive setting. Food trucks have been invited to attend, though their participation is not guaranteed. Updates regarding vendors or other event details will be shared through the Littlestown Mayor’s official Facebook page.
In the event of rain, Halloween Movie Night will be canceled, as there is no indoor backup location planned. Attendees are encouraged to check social media for weather-related announcements before heading to the park.
