Home Box Office (HBO), the premium cable and satellite network, will be filming a pilot for a potential show in Gettysburg during July.
It has been reported, but not confirmed by HBO, that the show is called “We’re Here.”

The show is about being gay in a small town.
An HBO film crew was in town scouting locations last month.
The show will be shooting at many places around town including the Ragged Edge Coffee House at 110 Chambersburg Street.
Fairfield resident and tour coordinator Curt Musselman said the crew was interested in filming at the Historic Gettysburg – Adams County (HGAC) Underground Railroad Tours at McAllister’s Mill south of town.
Executive/Artistic Director Chad-Alan Carr of the Gettysburg Community Theatre said the crew would be shooting at the theater.
According to Gettysburg Area Recreational Authority (GARA) Executive Director Jackie Dwyer, the film crew has rented the GARA meeting room in the Sterner building and several baseball fields from July 20 through July 31.
