Hollabaugh Bros. Celebrates 70 Years with Annual Blueberry Festival

Hollabaugh Bros. will celebrate its 70th anniversary with the annual Blueberry Festival, taking place Saturday and Sunday, July 12–13, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the family farm located at 545 Carlisle Road in Biglerville.

Now in its seventh decade, the popular festival features everything blueberry—from pick-your-own berries to a wide array of blueberry-themed treats including ice cream, milkshakes, and product samples. Visitors can also enjoy wagon rides, games, a scavenger hunt, crafts, and artisan vendors.

Live music will be provided by local country singer and songwriter Austin Rife. Author JR Rouzer will be on-site Saturday to meet with guests. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase from Dougie’s BBQ, Bricker’s Famous French Fries, Kona Ice, and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck.

The event marks a milestone for Hollabaugh Bros., which was founded in 1955 by twin brothers Donald and Harold Hollabaugh. Over the years, the business has expanded to include pick-your-own fruit, retail markets, and educational programs. The family-owned farm remains a local staple, known for its commitment to high-quality produce and community events.

The celebration doesn’t end with blueberries—Hollabaugh Bros. will host its 35th Annual Peach Festival on August 9–10. More information about farm events, classes, produce subscriptions, and recipes can be found at hollabaughbros.com.

Congratulations to the Hollabaugh family on 70 years of farming in Adams County. The community looks forward to many more seasons of fresh fruit and family fun.
