The Gettysburg Area Recreation Authority and Destination Gettysburg will be presenting a fireworks show on Saturday July 4 from 9:00 p.m. to 9:20 p.m. at the Gettysburg Rec Park.
During this time of pandemic it is important to safely enjoy the show by wearing face coverings and practicing social distancing.
The weather is calling for a hot day, so please plan for it.
Everyone is encouraged to watch the fireworks from their homes if they are able to see them.
Destination Gettysburg will be providing a live feed of the fireworks on Facebook for people to watch at home.
Parking will be available for $2.00. Please stay in or at your car to eliminate crowds and provide social distancing.
Areas will be available for people who are walking to the park to gather but remain in small groups while social distancing from other groups.
Staff will be on hand to help guide people to places around the park.
