The Adams County Community Foundation Giving Spree is Adams County’s annual day of giving.
Held since 2011, the Giving Spree is a countywide celebration of generosity, showcasing nonprofits serving Adams County in a festive, community atmosphere.

This year’s Giving Spree returns as an in-person event at the Wyndham Gettysburg, where donors can browse nonprofit booths and meet representatives from 100 local nonprofits serving Adams County and meet Miss Pennsylvania 2025 Victoria Vespico.

More than 4,000 people participated in the 2024 Giving Spree. This year’s event will highlight volunteer opportunities and serve as the final drop-off location for the United Way’s Bag the Bounty food drive.

Donors can also give online for 24 hours on Nov. 6 at www.ACCFGivingSpree.org.

Nonprofits participating in the Giving Spree represent every sector of the community, including food security, health, housing, education, historic preservation, the environment, animal welfare and the arts. The growth of Giving Spree donations has made the event the largest per capita giving day of any community in the nation. Gifts in 2024 totaled more than $3.6 million.

The Giving Spree is also unique for offering the option to make a forever gift—a contribution to an endowment fund that benefits a nonprofit designated by the donor. Each endowment provides annual support to its nonprofit, ensuring these one-time gifts have a lasting impact for generations to come.
