The Kiwanis Club of Gettysburg Adams is proud to announce that our very popular Holiday Pecan & Nut Sale is back and bigger than ever in 2023. We have brought back all of your favorites, including the new items from last year which included pecan logs and cashews. They greatly added to the success of our second-biggest yearly fundraiser. It was an easy decision to make! We are also happy to report that the prices have stayed the same this year, so go ahead and get your orders in ASAP. We will sell out of our inventory before the holidays!
The 4 oz. pecan log remains at $5 per log this year. The 10-oz. packages of cinnamon-glazed pecans, 12-oz. chocolate-covered pecans, and 8-oz. caramel clusters are again available for $10. The price of the popular 12-oz bags of Salted Cashews will be $12 while 16-oz. bags of pecan pieces are still $14, The large seven-way assorted gift tin, which offers a bit of everything, will still cost $35.

To order, nut lovers are encouraged to call a Kiwanis Club member they know or contact the organizer of the pecan and nut sale, Brandt Ensor, directly at brandte@adamslibrary.org (or voice/text him at 717-476-3824). The Kiwanis Club of Gettysburg Adams will again be selling our holiday pecan and nuts at the Holiday Market on Dec. 9 at the Gettysburg Area High School. The club’s booth will be open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. – or until supplies are gone.
All profits from the pecan and nut sale will support a variety of community programs that benefit Adams County youth and their families, including Upper Adams Reading is Fundamental, the Penguin Project, the Shining Stars Therapeutic Riding Ministry, the Special Olympics, the United Way’s Ready to Learn and Back-to-School programs, the GARA playground, the Gettysburg Fire Department fire prevention programs, Ruth’s Harvest, Tender Care, AGAPE, Gettysburg High School JROTC, Holiday Family Outreach, HOBY and the Adams County Library System.
