Greetings from the Rec Park and the Gettysburg Area Recreation Authority (GARA)!
We’re excited to invite you to a brand-new event at the Rec Park: our first-ever Memorial Day Weekend Music Festival on Saturday, May 24, starting at 2 p.m., right after the Farmers Market closes.

This free, all-day music festival will feature a fantastic lineup of six live acts:
- 2:00 Sugar Hysteria
- 3:00 Chuck Darwin & the Knuckle-Draggers
- 4:00 Six Whiskey Revival
- 5:00 Jake Groft
- 6:00 The Willys
- 7:00 Heads or Tails Experience
Enjoy delicious offerings from food and drink vendors, relax with friends and family, and support the park’s music and arts programming—all proceeds benefit future arts initiatives at the park.
Audio & Visual Entertainment is producing the festival program.
We’re grateful for the generous support of our sponsors, including Hearth and Barrel Bakery, After Dark Investigations, C.J.’s Takeout, A & A Salvage, Thrivent Group, and GARA board member Tom Demko. More sponsors are welcome!
Bring a lawn chair or blanket, settle in, and enjoy a great day of music and community. Rain date is Sunday, May 25. We hope to see you there!
