Kagan Served CC Player of the Week

de>LANCASTER, Pa. – Freshmen Alex Kagan (Guilford, Conn./Guilford) was named the Centennial Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week after leading Gettysburg College to its first win of the season over the weekend.

 

Kagan helped Gettysburg earn its first win of the season with convincing wins at No. 1 singles and doubles in a 6-3 decision at Dickinson College on April 3. The freshman tallied a victory at No. 1 doubles (8-2) before laying down a bagel in the second set of a 6-4, 6-0 victory at the top singles flight.

 

Kagan is the first men’s tennis player from Gettysburg to earn CC Player of the Week since Scott Johnson ’14 in 2014.

 

The Bullets host Ursinus College this Saturday, April 10, at 1 p.m.
