The Land Conservancy of Adams County will introduce its 26th Annual Art Auction with a wine-and-cheese First Friday Artists’ Reception at the Adams County Arts Council (125 S. Washington St., Gettysburg) from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 7.
This is your chance to meet many of this year’s generous donor-artists and see the artwork they’ve donated up close and in person. This year’s auction will be virtual via BiddingOwl.com. The Land Conservancy has found, after first taking the auction “virtual” during the height of the pandemic, that they are actually able to reach more bidders and achieve higher bids by taking the auction online.
The auction will go live following the First Friday Artists’ Reception, and bidding will close on Wednesday, April 19.
The art will be on display at the Adams County Arts Council, 125 S. Washington St, Gettysburg, between April 7 and April 19.
The Land Conservancy of Adams County is an accredited, member-supported, 501(c)3 nonprofit land trust dedicated to preserving the rural lands and character of Adams County, Pennsylvania.
