This Year’s Decorating Contest Will Feature Two Divisions: Residential And Business
NEW OXFORD, PA – The New Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that Light Up New Oxford will be held again this year. The decorating contest officially launched in December 2020. This year’s Light Up New Oxford will run from Saturday, December 11 through Sunday, December 26.
Light Up New Oxford features two decorating divisions: residential and business. The New Oxford Chamber is currently accepting entries in both divisions. The competition is open to residences and businesses located in the 17350 zip code. There is no entry fee for this year’s competition. Prizes valued at $200, $100 and $50 will be awarded to the top three residential winners as voted on by the community. There will be a prize awarded to the winner of the business division as well. Residents and businesses interested in participating in the competition can register at www.newoxford.org/light-up-new-oxford or in-person at the Chamber office located at27 Center Square in New Oxford. The registration deadline is Wednesday, December 8.
Starting Saturday, December 11, the Light Up New Oxford tour guide will be available on our website and Facebook event page. Physical copies can also be picked up at the Chamber office, Mondays – Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A Google Map of all participating residences and businesses, including suggested travel routes, will also be available online. Please note that Light Up New Oxford is a driving tour. After completing the driving tour, community members are invited to cast their votes for their favorite residences and businesses via our new digital voting platform. Physical voting forms will also be available at the Chamber office.
