Littlestown Good Old Days are here again

The Littlestown Area Historical Society is inviting residents and visitors to step back in time for its annual Good Old Days celebration, set for August 14–16, 2025. This year’s festivities promise a mix of nostalgia, community spirit, and family fun.

The event kicks off Thursday evening with the Good Old Days Parade at 6:30 p.m., featuring the theme “Back to the 80’s.” Local businesses, sports teams, churches, classic cars, tractors, and firetrucks will parade through the square as judges look on for prize-worthy entries. There’s no fee to participate, and applications remain open.

Friday’s Community Night at Crouse Park Pavilion begins at 5:30 p.m. with food trucks from K & K Concessions, Bring the Vibe, Food Adventures, and Baileys Bombs. The live rock band JoyRyde will play from 5:30–7:30 p.m., followed by a giant inflatable-screen showing of the beloved baseball classic The Sandlot. The evening is sponsored by Randy’s Electric, Foster Roofing, La Bella Italia Family Restaurant, Jessica Kureth–Iron Valley Real Estate Hanover, and Shoe Orthodontics.

Saturday morning brings Littlestown’s largest vendor event from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Crouse Park. More than 90 craft, food, and local business vendors will fill the grounds. Family-friendly attractions include a free inflatable bounce house, face painting, a petting zoo, live entertainment, and more.
