The Littlestown Library will host a program focused on healthy eating and financial savings later this month.
Titled “Eating on a Budget,” the session will be led by Weis Markets Dietitian Emily and is scheduled for Tuesday, July 29, at 2:00 p.m. The event is part of the Adams County Library System’s Wellness Kit Program and aims to help participants learn practical ways to shop for and prepare nutritious meals while staying within their food budget.
Emily will share tips on selecting affordable, nutrient-rich ingredients and offer strategies for meal planning that minimize food waste and stretch grocery dollars further. The program reflects a growing interest in healthy living and financial wellness, particularly as families continue to feel the impact of rising food costs.
Registration is required for the event, and participants can sign up online through the Adams County Library website.
Organizers say the program is part of a larger effort to promote community health literacy and ensure that local residents have access to both nutrition education and resources to support healthier lifestyles.
