The Littlestown Community Park will open to the public on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
Unfortunately, before the park can be opened to the public, the Borough, in accordance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit and Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) grant regulations, must follow 25 Pa. Code § 102.22. Site stabilization, which states: “For an earth disturbance activity or any stage or phase of an activity to be considered permanently stabilized, the disturbed areas shall be covered with one of the following: (i) A minimum uniform 70% perennial vegetative cover, with a density capable of resisting accelerated erosion and sedimentation.”
The park is closed, including the walking trails. We request the public’s cooperation. Violations will result in a warning for a first-time offense and issuance of citations thereafter.
