Will you take a few minutes to write a short book review for your community?
We could use your help sharing the experiences of some of our amazing community members as they speak to the public.
The YWCA Gettysburg and the Adams County Library System have gathered “human books” to be “checked out” by readers for 30-minute conversations during the week of April 24 – April 29.
Click here to see a list of the many opportunities.
The “human books,” which are presented by local residents who will share their lives, their experiences, their hopes, and their fears, will be available for “checkout” at the Gettysburg Library at various times during the week.
But not everyone can attend every “book,” and that’s where we need your help.
Will you attend one (or more) of the sessions, take some notes, and share your experiences with our readers?
We’d like to hear from you — you can make a difference and share the word.
Please send us an email if you’re interested.
