Magic To Do At GCT With Pippin The Musical!

Gettysburg Community Theatre (GCT), the non-profit 501c3 organization currently in its 17th year at 49 York Street within the first block of Lincoln Square in Gettysburg, PA, will perform Pippin the musical weekends June 6-22, 2025. Advanced order tickets are encouraged for the intimate space theatre and available at the GCT box office 3-6pm Mondays and Tuesdays and online at www.gettysburgcommunitytheatre.org

With an infectiously unforgettable score from four-time Grammy winner, three-time Oscar winner and musical theatre giant, Stephen Schwartz, Pippin is the story of one young man’s journey to be extraordinary. Heir to the throne, the young prince Pippinis in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it at school, in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh, and the intrigues of political power. In the end, though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the un-extraordinary moments that happen every day.
