Mason Dixon Distillery won a top honor at the PA Farm Show

A Gettysburg-based distillery claimed top honors at the 2026 Pennsylvania Farm Show, earning first place in the Ready-to-Drink Cocktail category during the event’s annual Spirits Competition.

Mason Dixon Distillery took the top prize with its Jalapeño Mule canned cocktail, edging out competitors from across the state. The win places the local producer at the forefront of Pennsylvania’s growing ready-to-drink spirits market.

Lancaster County-based Jimmy Juice finished second and third in the same category with its Ginger Fizzy and Pink Flamingo cocktails, according to competition results released at the Farm Show.

The Spirits Competition is held each year to showcase the quality and innovation of Pennsylvania-made alcoholic beverages, with entries judged across multiple categories. The Ready-to-Drink division has expanded rapidly as canned cocktails continue to gain popularity with consumers.

Following the Farm Show win, Mason Dixon Distillery announced plans to broaden distribution of its canned cocktail lineup in 2026. The company recently shared plans to move into the greater Philadelphia market and is also preparing to expand into Maryland. According to the distillery, the licensing process for Maryland is underway, with a spring launch targeted.

In Pennsylvania, Mason Dixon continues to grow its footprint. The company now has more than 130 retail distributors statewide and is in discussions with larger retail chains as demand for its canned cocktails increases.

In addition to its distribution growth, Mason Dixon’s Restaurant at 331 E. Water St. in Gettysburg is scheduled to reopen Friday following its winter break. The restaurant will debut new menu items and special offerings under Chef Cameron Matney.

Mason Dixon Distillery produces a range of canned cocktails beyond its award-winning Jalapeño Mule, including Iced Tea & Lemonade, Bourbon & Ginger Ale, Lavender Lemonade and Transfusion. The products are available at the distillery and restaurant in Gettysburg, at its downtown store in Gettysburg Goods on Lincoln Square, through its website and at distributors throughout Pennsylvania.
