All-Academic Teams (Men) | All-Academic Athletes (Men) | All-Academic Teams (Women) | All-Academic Athletes (Women)
NEW ORLEANS The Gettysburg College men’s and women’s cross country teams were honored by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) for their performances on the course and in the classroom.

Each squad was recognized as a USTFCCCA Division III All-Academic Team, which honors schools that achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale.
The men’s squad gained the status for the fifth consecutive year with an astonishing cumulative GPA of 3.61. A total of 137 men’s teams received All-Academic honors in Division III.
The women’s squad finished with an exceptional 3.57 and were among 163 Division III teams who collected the recognition. Since 2006, the women’s team has earned All-Academic Team honors.
In addition, two men and one woman earned USTFCCCA All-Academic individual recognition for posting a GPA of 3.30 or higher and finishing in the top-25 percent of their regional championships. Senior Dylan McKeever (Furlong, Pa./Central Bucks East) earned his second career honor, while junior Connor Elliott (Media, Pa./Salesianum) and junior Amy Cantrell (Hailey, Idaho/Wood River) each tallied their first accolade.
McKeever, who graduated in December with a bachelor’s in health sciences and biology minor, closed out his outstanding career by placing 22nd among 223 runners at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional. He clocked 27:26 on the muddy 8,000-meter course. Elliott, a molecular biology/chemistry major, finished 25th at the regional with a time of 27:31. McKeever and Elliott each earned their first career all-region honor and became the first duo since Jay Grunden and Bill Gray, who achieved the accomplishment in 1994, to collect the recognition in the same season.
Cantrell, a political science and international affairs major with a history minor, claimed 44th out of 218 competitors at the regional meet. She was timed at 25:03 on the 6,000-meter course.
The Bullets closed the season at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional on Nov. 13, when the men’s team finished 11th out of 31 teams and the women’s squad took 14th out of 31 schools.
