Gettysburg produced one of the best fall campaigns in program history, claiming the team title at four different tournaments and posting a scoring average of 295.3 over nine rounds of competition, a mark that is 8.1 strokes better than the current program standard for a whole season. Seven of the team’s nine rounds were 296 or better, including a 286 in the final round of competition at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational.

First-year Head Coach Jason Badecki will look to lead the Bullets to more success during a spring schedule that includes familiar local venues as well as some new distant locales. After a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Gettysburg will return to South Carolina for its annual training trip at Myrtle Beach from March 6-13.

Gettysburg’s first official foray against collegiate competition will take place at the McDaniel College Spring Invite hosted at The Bridges Golf Club in nearby Abbottstown, Pa., on March 26-27. The Bullets edged the Green Terror in the fall edition of the event also held at The Bridges in October.

On April 3-4, Gettysburg will join some of the top Division III programs in the country for the Hershey Cup hosted by the University of Rochester. The Bullets last competed in the Hershey Cup in 2019 alongside Wittenberg University, Carnegie Mellon University, New York University, and a dozen other institutions.

Gettysburg will head west to Indiana to compete in the Division III Showcase hosted by Hanover College on April 11-12. The two-day event will take place at The Donald Ross Course at the French Lick Resort.

The Bullets wrap up the regular season by hosting the Gettysburg Spring Shootout at the Penn National Golf Club in Fayetteville, Pa., on April 15-16. Gettysburg has won the last seven regular-season events it has hosted dating back to the spring of 2018.

The Centennial Conference Championship is set to take place at the Hershey Country Club East Course on April 22-24. The champion in 2019, Gettysburg was edged out by Franklin & Marshall by one stroke in its bid for the crown in 2021. The CC champion will gain the automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship set for May 10-13 at the Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
