The Gettysburg College men’s and women’s swimming programs maintained their strong academic stature this past fall as the Bullets were once again named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team it was recently announced.

The men’s team generated another successful academic semester in the fall of 2019 and have claimed the Scholar All-America designation in 10 of the last 11 semesters overall. The team closed the fall semester with a cumulative GPA of 3.14.

The women stretched their streak of academic honors from the CSCAA to 11 semesters. The Bullets closed the fall with a GPA of 3.19.

The CSCAA Scholar All-America team awards are given in recognition of teams that achieve a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2019 fall semester. In total, a record 480 institutions were named to the list.

The academic awards provide a great start for head swimming coach Greg Brown, who is in his first year as head coach for the Bullets. The men’s program currently stands at 7-1 overall, and the women’s team is 8-1 overall.
