The Gettysburg College men’s and women’s swimming teams climbed the regional rankings with the men also gaining a spot among the top 25 in the final College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA)/TYR Division III Poll of 2019.

On the men’s side, Gettysburg moved into the top 25 for the first time since 2017 by grabbing the final spot in the ballot. The Bullets are 5-0 in dual meet competition and all five relays rank among the top 25 in the nation heading into 2020. The squad also improved its regional standing, jumping from eighth to fifth in the Northeast South.

The women barely missed the cut for the top 25 poll, finishing as the top vote-getter with 13. Wellesley College received eight more votes to finish 25th. The Bullets improved two spots in the regional poll, sliding in front of fellow Centennial Conference institution Swarthmore College at No. 4. Gettysburg is 6-0 in dual competition and features four top-25 relay squads.

Gettysburg embarks on a week-long training trip to Orlando, Fla., to kick off 2020 before returning to campus to face Catholic University in a non-conference dual on Sunday, Jan. 12, at noon.
