Gettysburg posted a 3-0 record this past fall under the direction of Ali Flores ’08, who is in the midst of her fourth season with the men’s program. The team also performed well at the Goucher Invitational and finished the fall sporting a combined 45-9 record in singles and doubles matches.

The spring will bring a handful of non-conference competitions as the Bullets prepare for an always challenging Centennial slate. The action will begin with the team’s annual spring trip to Hilton Head, S.C., which will feature 3-4 matches. Past opponents during the trip south have included both Division II and III institutions from Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Nebraska.

Upon returning north, Gettysburg will line up with one of the top contenders in the conference in the form of Swarthmore College on Saturday, March 19, at 1 p.m. The Garnet have finished runner-up in the conference tournament nine times since 2009.

The first home date of the spring will feature Lebanon Valley College on March 23. The Bullets have not met the Dutchmen on the tennis courts since 2008. Gettysburg will hit the road to face Ursinus College in a Centennial match on March 26 before returning home versus Muhlenberg College on April 2.

On April 5, Gettysburg will meet Division I Mount St. Mary’s University for the first time since 1988. The Bullets will remain on the road with a trip to Dickinson College on April 6. The Bullets scored a 6-3 win over the Red Devils in 2021, marking the Orange and Blue’s first win in the series since 2011.

Gettysburg remains at home for the next three outings, beginning with its final non-conference match up against Goucher on April 13. The Bullets will seek their first win against Washington College three days later after seeing the Shoremen pull off back-to-back 5-4 decisions in both 2019 and 2021. The final home contest of the stand will pit Gettysburg against rival Franklin & Marshall College on April 20.

The regular season closes with Gettysburg taking on two of the top teams in the conference. Johns Hopkins University has claimed the last 14 Centennial titles and is coming off an appearance in the NCAA Division III semifinals in 2021. The Bullets visit the Blue Jays on April 26 before closing out the regular season at home against Haverford College on April 30.
