LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior Sam Sheldon (Tully, N.Y./Tully) moved into eighth all-time after capturing his first indoor victory in the mile at the Coach I Open, which was hosted by Frank & Marshall College, while other Bullets displayed strong performances in their second meet of the season on Saturday.
No team scoring was kept at the meet.

Meet Highlights
- Coming off a strong senior campaign during the cross country season, Sheldon recorded his first indoor victory of the track season in the mile with a 4:24.18 time out of 53 competitors, which now ranks eighth all-time in Gettysburg indoor history. Junior Dylan McKeever (Furlong, Pa./Central Bucks East) also competed in the mile, placing fourth (4:29.06).
- After setting the second-best indoor mark in the long jump in the season opener, Barnes leaped 21-04.25 to post fourth out of 34.
- Palazzolo, junior Nicholas Grissinger (Palmyra, Pa./Milton Hershey), and sophomore Matthew Weller (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) all placed within the top 10 of the high jump. Palazzolo finished third (5-10.75), Grissinger claimed seventh (5-08.75), and Weller tied for eighth (5-08.75).
- Motill competed in both the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash, finishing eighth (7.33) in the former and 13th (24.23) in the latter.
- The 4×400-meter relay A team, no names were listed on the results, finished eighth out of 23, clocking 4:01.23.
- Tubula notched an eighth-place showing in the triple jump (42-3.50).
