Come to the Gettysburg Farmers Market on Saturday, May 11th, for wellness activities, short presentations, and plenty of resources designed to help maintain a positive mental perspective. Some of the programming includes guided meditation, mindful walking activities, yoga, behavioral health screenings, grief support, mental health resources for farmers, and art therapy. There is no charge for participation. “Two Cool Dudes,” a mental health awareness podcast, will be recording on-site at the market.
This event in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month is made possible through a partnership between the Adams County Farmers Market and Healthy Adams County. The Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gettysburg Recreation Park, 545 Long Lane.
