The 41st Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration “From the Mountaintop” will be held on Monday Jan. 16 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Gettysburg College’s Christ Chapel.
Keynote Speakers include Gettysburg Mayor Rita Frealing, and Taurean (Tory) Moses, the first African American member and current Vice President of the Adams County Bar Association.
Musical contributors include the Biglerville High School Jazz Band, the Brownsville Church of God Worship Team, and the Gettysburg Children’s Choir and Chamber Chorale.
The free event is sponsored by the Gettysburg-Adams YWCA, Gettysburg College, South Central Community Action Programs, and The United Way of Adams County.
