The Shapiro Administration recently announced the completion of the new PA.gov, consolidating 64 separate state websites into a single, user-focused platform. Led by the Commonwealth Office of Digital Experience (CODE PA), the redesign prioritizes accessibility and simplicity, making it easier for Pennsylvanians to access vital services online.
“There should be no wrong door for Pennsylvanians to contact state government and get the information and services they deserve,” said Governor Josh Shapiro. “This revamped website puts Pennsylvanians first, delivering an accessible, user-friendly experience.”

The site’s centerpiece is the Services Directory, enabling users to search nearly 1,000 state services by life events, audience, category, or keywords. Whether finding a job, starting a business, or planning a state park visit, residents can easily access what they need without navigating multiple websites.
In December 2024 alone, PA.gov received nearly 9 million visits and over 72 million page views, highlighting its importance. Redesigned with input from over 300 Pennsylvanians, the platform features intuitive navigation, improved accessibility for assistive technologies, and content tailored to residents’ needs.
“This is a solid digital foundation for the Commonwealth,” said Bry Pardoe, Executive Director of CODE PA. “We’re creating a simple, seamless, and secure online experience.”
The transformation began in May 2024 and involved collaboration across agencies, ensuring accurate and clear information.
