The New Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of New Oxford Holiday Hunt, which wrapped up at the end of December. The winners of the scavenger hunt, business decorating contest, and residential decorating competition were shared on the Chamber’s Facebook page. The three winners of the scavenger hunt were drawn from the entries received throughout the event.

The Chamber would like to congratulate the following community members on winning the scavenger hunt: Kristy M. (first place), Eli H. (second place) and Mason M. (third place). Each winner received a prize basket featuring items from local New Oxford businesses. The prizes were valued at $300 collectively.
Additionally, fifteen local businesses participated in the business decorating contest, with Johnny & Rude’s taking first place. Martin’s New Oxford Hardware placed second and Scott & Co. Fine Jewelers placed third in the contest.
Holiday Hunt also featured Light Up New Oxford, a residential decorating competition. The community voted for their top three decorated residences. The results were as follows: Christmas at the Cabin (first place), Merry Fishmas (seccond place) and Harner’s Holiday Home (third place). The winners will have the opportunity to redeem their prizes at New Oxford Chamber member businesses (valued at $350 collectively). Over 35 residences participated in the Light Up New Oxford. The Chamber plans to continue the residential decorating competition as an annual event.
