On a bright Tuesday afternoon, New Oxford’s girls’ tennis team shut out Northern York, recording a decisive 5-0 victory.
The singles matches set the pace for the day. Anya Rosenbach of New Oxford started things off with a victory over Northern York’s Amelia Allen by a score of 6-0, 6-1.
Allison Horick followed suit with a similar performance against Aubrey Stuckey, mirroring the scoreline of 6-0, 6-1. The third singles match witnessed another impeccable display from New Oxford’s Kaelyn Balko as she rolled past Abby Boes, winning 6-0, 6-0.
The Colonials’ doubles team of Alex Wolf and Joslyn Loss then defeated Maggie Yost and Rebecca Purnell of Northern York without dropping a game, finishing at 6-0, 6-0.
Closing the day for New Oxford was the pair of Kylie Wampler and Emory Millar-Kellner, who recorded another convincing doubles triumph, beating Karla Elicker and Karly Anderson of Northern York by 6-1
