The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced a recall of High Noon Beach Variety Packs after some cans of Celsius Astro Vibe Sparkling Blue Razz energy drinks were mistakenly filled with alcoholic seltzer.
The issue occurred when a packaging supplier shipped empty Celsius cans to High Noon’s production facility, where they were inadvertently filled with High Noon Vodka Seltzer and distributed as part of 12-can variety packs. As a result, consumers could unknowingly ingest alcohol from cans labeled as non-alcoholic energy drinks.
The recall affects two production lots of High Noon Beach Variety 12-packs and certain Celsius Astro Vibe cans with specific lot codes. The mislabeled Celsius cans have a silver lid instead of the standard black lid.
The impacted products were shipped between July 21 and July 23 to distributors and retailers in Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
High Noon urges consumers to check the lot codes listed on the bottom of Celsius cans and the exterior of High Noon 12-packs. Affected products should not be consumed and should be disposed of immediately.
Consumers with recalled products can contact High Noon Consumer Relations at consumerrelations@highnoonvodka.com for refunds and additional guidance.
