She was born November 28, 1937 in Franklin Township, Adams County, PA the daughter of the late Paul and Margaret Harbold McDannell. Alice is survived by her husband Kenneth E. Williams, Jr.
Mrs. Williams was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbottstown, PA. She was a 1956 graduate of Gettysburg High School. Alice was a former member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Orrtanna, PA. She and her husband have been members of the Brethren Home community for a number of years.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Williams is survived by a son, Edward P. Williams and his wife Evelyn of Harrisburg, PA, a daughter, Sandra L. Williams of Franklin, TN, two grandchildren; Brett P. Williams of Seattle, WA, Jordan R. Williams Nanchung and her husband Tenzin of Winchester, VA, 3 brothers: Mark McDannell of Orrtanna, PA, Eugene McDannell of Orrtanna, PA, Bernard McDannell of Orrtanna, PA. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters; Kathleen McDannell, John McDannell, Elizabeth McBeth, and Ruth Baker, Louise Deardorff, Clara Redding, Edna Showers, .
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM from St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, Buchanan Valley, PA with Monsignor William Richardson celebrant. The family will receive friends at the Loyola Center on Saturday, July 27th from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
