Born September 4, 1929 in Honesdale, PA he was the son of the late Alec and Lisette Seaman. He was the husband of the late Lottie V. (Hodges) Seaman who died December 26, 2020.
Mr. Seaman was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War. He worked for many years as a serviceman for Washington Gas and Light Company. He did volunteer work at the Gettysburg Hospital and the Majestic Theater. He was an active member at various clubs, including the American Legion, the Moose, and the Elks.
Arnold is survived by his three children, Pamela Seaman, of Everett, WA, Charles Seaman and his wife Cheryl, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Lesli Staley and her significant other, Bob Le Gore, of Hanover, PA, his four grandchildren, Courtney Daniel and (David), Lauren Hopper (Terese), Kristen Bodnar (Garrick), Matthew Staley, and his eight great grandchildren, Madison Hopper, Joy Hopper, Sutton Hopper, Catherine Daniel, James Daniel, Jackson Daniel, Brock Bodnar, and Grady Bodnar. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Marian Heede, Shirley Wheeler, and his brother, Lester Seaman.
There will be a graveside service for Arnie, 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Evergreen Cemetery, 799 Baltimore St., Gettysburg, PA with Pastor Nathan Hedin-Schmidt officiating, the Adams County Allied Veterans will perform full military honors.
