Arthur E Davis, 76, of Gardners, PA, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Chambersburg Skilled Nursing Home.
He was born on January 23, 1950, in Raleigh, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Oakley Arthur Davis and Bertha Akers Davis. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Showaker Davis.
He was employed by Fetters Orchards in Gardners, PA, for 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. In his younger days, he also enjoyed horseback riding. Art loved spending time with his family, he was a great husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Mr. Davis is also survived by three children; Amy Bove and her husband Richard Bove of Aspers, Pa, Arthur O Davis and his wife Shelly, of Gardners, PA, Daniel Davis of Gardners, PA, Six grandchildren Marcos Showaker and wife Destiny Showaker of Hanover, Pa, Cobi Shultz of Arendtsville, PA, Allyssa Shultz of Gettysburg, PA, Maura Trakney and husband Ben Trakney, of Fort Campbell, KY, Noah Bove of Aspers, PA, Gavin Davis of Gardners PA, Eight great grandchildren Saoirse Lefever, Oakley Morris, Koda Morris, Atlas Showaker, of Hanover, PA, Sebastian Shultz, Melodie Shultz of Gettysburg, PA, Aurora Trakney and Aurelia Trakney of Fort Campbell, Ky, two brothers; Claude Davis and Arnold Davis of West Virginia, six sisters Mary Puffbarger, Annie Reed, Connie Akers, Susie West, Martha Louis, Nora Thomas of West Virginia.
