Audrey R. Moritz, 85, formerly of Fairfield, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Paramount Senior Living, Fayetteville, PA. Born November 6, 1939, in Franklin Township, Adams County, she was the daughter of Floyd W. Moritz and Rose Agnes (Keiser) Moritz.
She was a graduate of Fairfield High School in the class of 1958. She was employed by various local shoe factories, canning factories, Eddie’s Cleaners, and the Fairfield Inn.

Audrey was a woman of strong faith with an unshakable belief in the power of prayer. She had a keen interest in and knowledge of the history of Fairfield. She found great joy in playing and especially winning bingo.
She is survived by her sister Martha Scott (Charles “Sam”), niece Dawn Cool (Christopher), and nephew Eric Scott, all of Fairfield, as well as several great-nieces, great-nephews, a great-great-niece, and great-great-nephews.
Audrey was predeceased by her parents and her half-brother, Clark Reever.
The family would like to warmly thank the staff of Paramount Senior Living and Compassus Hospice for their loving care of Audrey.
Funeral services for Audrey will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 9th, at St. John Lutheran Church, 13 East Main Street, Fairfield, PA, with Pastor Wayne Gallipo officiating. Interment will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Audrey’s name to St. John Lutheran Church, 13 East Main Street, Fairfield, PA 17320.

Prayers to the family on the passing of Audrey. I remember her riding Rabbittransit. She shared her memories of baking with her mother, genealogy and history of Fairfield. I always looked forward to having her ride the bus.
