She was born June 17, 1943 in Scranton PA, the daughter of the late Edward and Ann Ceccacci. She is preceded in death by her sister, Henrietta Palmere, of Bristow VA.
She graduated from Scranton Technical High School in 1961. In 1965, she married her high school sweetheart, Albert Pezzuti. She was a stay at home mother, dedicated to her family and praying the rosary.
She enjoyed spending time watching her grand children grow up, cooking, and reading. She could often be found enjoying the outside, working tirelessly in her impeccable yard.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of almost 60 years (Albert Pezzuti), son (Paul Pezzuti), daughter (Christine Blockinger) and son-in-law (Daniel Blockinger), 5 grandchildren (Nicholas, Andrew, Marissa, Nathan, and Erica) and 1 great granddaughter (Melody).
We find comfort in knowing she is at peace with her Savior, and reunited with family she had been missing. There are no words to express the hole that is left in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Barbara will forever be remembered for her warmth, kindness and love for her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place, Monday, January 6, 2025 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Gettysburg at 1:00 PM with Fr. Stephen Kelly celebrant. There will be a viewing at the church on Monday from Noon until the time of the Mass.
